Say hello to the
Buffalo River Travel guide
All of my experience on the Buffalo River- Cabin stays, float trips, hikes, swimming holes, Boat Rentals, & more
The Buffalo River is where adventure meets serenity — crystal-clear waters, towering bluffs, and a wildness that stirs your soul. It’s not just a place to visit, it becomes a part of you. It becomes home.
Two decades ago, my parents bought property at the Buffalo National River in Gilbert, Arkansas. It became our family hang out spot, family memories for float trips, hiking, & enjoying the outdoor splendor that Arkansas has to offer. As my kids got older & we started to hike more, I started discovering the absolutely wild spaces of the Buffalo Wilderness area & completely fell in love. You don't need to go out west to discover true outdoor majesty, it's right here in the woods, rivers, & lakes of the Arkansas landscape. I hope this guide helps you explore & fall in love with it as much as I have.

Do you feel like you’re missing out on the real gems—the waterfalls, campgrounds, and hikes locals know—because the info online is scattered (or outdated)?
